Ein offener Brief an sämmtliche Bürger von Sheboygan County [An open letter to the citizens of Sheboygan County]
Poster reproducing an open letter from Walter Kohler on behalf of the Sheboygan County Liberty Loan Committee, to the citizens of Sheboygan County, informing them of the upcoming "Freedom Day" on October 12, 1918. On Freedom Day they will be able to purchase bonds in the Fourth Liberty Loan drive if they have not already done so. Poster is in German. In addition to the letter, poster text reads: Ein offener Brief an sämmtliche Bürger von Sheboygan County [An open letter to all the citizens of Sheboygan County]. Kauft Bonds on oder vor dem 1. Okt. [Purchase bonds on or before Oct. 1st.] Vierte Freiheits-Anleihe. [Fourth Liberty Loan] Es wird am Schlusse der Campagne eine Liste vorbereitet von Denjenigen, welche ihren gerechten Antheil subskribiren konnen, aber nicht wollen. [At the end of the campaign a list will be prepared, of those who could subscribe to their fair share but did not want to.] Diese Listen wird in den County-Zeitungen publizirt. [These lists will be published in the county newspapers.] Es wird ebenfalls eine Copie denselben an jeden Soldaten dieses County, welcher jetzt in Dienste der Ver. Staaten steht, gesandt. [A copy of the same will be sent to every soldier of the county who is currently in the service of the United States.] |
