Studio portrait of James Larnard Liddle (1900-1919) wearing a white cotton dress with black stockings and shoes. He has shoulder-length hair. James was born February 2, 1900 in Delavan (Walworth Co.), Wisconsin, the son of Harry Hobart Liddle (1870-1934), a confectionary store merchant, and Edna (Larnard) Liddle (1868-1925). James joined the US Navy in December 1917 and died of pneumonia on September 27, 1919 when stationed at Puget Sound, Washington. |
