Our Good Mule "Industry"
Poster featuring a cartoon panel in which an overworked mule, labeled: "Industry," is running on a treadmill that is belt-driving a wheel on the side of a building labeled: "Factory." Out of a chute on the building tumble boxes labeled: "Shoes, Clothes, Drugs, MDS [merchandise], and Hats." The mule is harassed by four horseflies, which are labeled: "Strife, Unfair Laws, Agitator, and Taxation." Poster text reads: "OUR GOOD MULE "INDUSTRY" FIRST IN WAR FIRST IN PEACE FIRST IN PROSPERITY. Our mule is wedded to his job. He is a good and faithful worker. He provides for his many dependents.
