Waist-up portrait of Dr. Jonathan Lee Overby, a bandleader, baritone singer, and radio host on WORT, and then on WPR. At the time this portrait was taken, Overby was a baritone who performed recitals worldwide. He performed with many different musical groups in and out of state, and then began a WORT program called "The Best of Gospel with Johnny O." Since 1994 he has been a program host for WPR, best known for his Saturday evening world music program "The Road to Higher Ground with Jonathan Overby." |
