Earthquake Damage

Elevated view of a crowd of men, some in traditional Japanese dress, and some in western-style clothing, gathered around a damaged building on a corner. The roof and second story walls of the small commercial building have collapsed. There is a signpost with Japanese lettering near the corner of the building. On the reverse of the print is written: "Pictures of the work of the earthquake that took place in Yokohama April 26, 1922." |
