There is a pottery frog on the floor at left, and a vase with flowers on a small table at far right. The players are all well-dressed. On the reverse of the print Leonore has written: "Sept. 1921 Tokyo, Japan. Note the beads — Japanese crystal — the loveliest beads F. bot [sic] for me this summer. Taken in the Japanese house we lived in this summer. Just a friendly game — just posed — (flowers are asters). The man & lady in the center is Dr. Norden [?] & wife & the other girl is Miss Shoemacher who roomed with me this summer. She is a stenographer for the national [unreadable]."
