Cherry Blossom Festival

Cherry Blossom Festival | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
Leonore Middleton, in hat, facing camera, posing with two unidentified women, left, near two small market stalls under blooming cherry trees along a roadway. Other people in traditional Japanese dress are walking along the road. There is a rustic fence on the left. On the reverse of the print is written: "Can you find me? Taken on one of our cherry viewing hikes. It took us fully 20 minutes to come to the end of this one road lined on eather [sic] side with cherry trees just bursting with flowers. There were stalls all along where one could buy everything from food for the gold fish in the park to a meal eaten in the open."
