One of the women is behind a table preparing bandages, and the other woman is cradling a wounded soldier in her lap, and has her right hand reaching up in the air. Behind her is a scene of soldiers rushing onto a field carrying rifles and the American flag. The symbol of the Red Cross is in the center of the poster. The poster reads: "If I Fail He Dies, Work for the Red Cross." |
