Joseph Gundry Family House in Mineral Point

View of a woman (facing away) standing indoors in front of an ornate doorway at the Joseph Gundry House. A white lace curtain is covering the large window of the wooden door which is slightly ajar. There are five stained glass windows framing the door, including two sidelights with arched tops, and a three-part transom matching the arched shape of the ceiling. The design features birds, foliage, and Greek kraters. The walls and ceiling mimic the color motif of reds, blues and yellows in the stained glass. A hat rack with hats is against the wall on the right. |
