1967 Guide to Historic Wisconsin
This colored map published by the State Historical Society of Wisconsin shows key points of interest telling the story of Wisconsin's earliest settlement and heritage. Locations of museums, battlegrounds, Native American sites, parks, lighthouses, and other sites reflecting Wisconsin's past are indicated on the map, with specific roads and highway identifiers. At the bottom of the map is an index of "Official Historical Markers" showing their locations on the map. On the back side of the map is a list, by city, of these points of interest, including a brief description, driving directions, and contact information for the site. |
