Map or Atlas
Wisconsin
This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of nearby states. Information on the quality and type of any road shown (interstate highway, county road, paved, dirt, etc.) can be found in the legend near the top right corner, under an index of counties, cities, and towns shown on the map. Superimposed upon the main map, there are small street maps of Duluth-Superior, Green Bay, Racine, and Madison. In the bottom left corner, a mileage chart showing the distances between cities and towns in and around Wisconsin and a list of radio stations in the area are featured. On the back side of the map, street maps for Appleton, Kenosha, La Crosse, Sheboygan, and Milwaukee are available, along with road maps of the "Spooner-Hayward Region" and the "Rhinelander Region." An index of lakes and streams in Michigan and Wisconsin and a summary of tourist attractions in various counties are also featured. |
