Map or Atlas
Wisconsin
This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of nearby states. The map is organized such that a single map of Wisconsin is divided on to two sides of a page, with the northern half on the front side and the southern half on the back. Information on the quality and type of any road shown (paved, improved, unimproved, etc.) can be found in the legend near the bottom left corner of the back page. On the front side, over Lake Superior, a mileage chart showing the distances between towns and cities in Wisconsin is available. Along the left edge, there is an index of counties, cities, and towns shown on the map and their populations. On the back side, ferry lanes through Lake Michigan are shown. Fish hatcheries, airports, campsites, U.S. national parks, state parks, and points of interest can be found on the map and identified in the legend. Along the bottom edge, small street maps of Milwaukee, Green Bay, Madison, Kenosha, and Racine are present. Along the left edge, information and artwork promoting Standard Oil Company is featured. |
