Map or Atlas
Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin

This colored road map shows automobile roads in Southeastern Wisconsin on the front and Milwaukee on the back. On the front side of the map, information on the quality and type of any road shown (i.e. gravel, scheduled for construction, U.S. Highway, County Highway) can be found in the legend in the bottom left corner. Along the right edge, informational statements and a drawing promoting the American Automobile Association are featured. Along the left edge of the promotional area, an index of cities, towns, villages, and lakes shown on the map is available, under a small road map of Madison, Wisconsin. On the back side, a street map of Milwaukee covers most space, with a margin along the bottom reserved for an index of streets shown on the map and a small street map of south Milwaukee. Along the right edge, above a map legend, an index of hotels, breweries, police stations, colleges and universities, and points of interest shown on the map can be found. Just above this, there is a paragraph describing the system by which street address numbers are assigned. |
