Catholic Tour Guide to Wisconsin | Map or Atlas | Wisconsin Historical Society
This map is designed to help Catholic tourists in Wisconsin find Catholic churches and missions. On the front side, a road map of Wisconsin showing the locations of churches, missions, shrines, and Diocesan boundaries is featured (as well as towns, cities, airports, fish hatcheries, parks, etc.). A prayer is shown near the bottom left corner. Information on the type of any road shown (U.S. Highway, State Highway, County Trunk Highway, etc.) can be found in the legend. On the back side of the map, a Sunday Mass Schedule for the Catholic churches in all towns and cities in Wisconsin is available, with towns ordered alphabetically. In the bottom left corner, a mileage chart showing the distance between any two towns/cities in Wisconsin (as well as Chicago, Illinois, Dubuque, Iowa and St. Paul, Minnesota) is shown. To the right of this, six Catholic shrines in Wisconsin are listed and described; photographs of five of these shrines and four others are shown above. In the bottom right corner, information regarding Wisconsin State Parks and Forests can be found.
