This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of nearby states. Information on the quality and type of any road shown (paved, dirt, scheduled for construction, etc.) is included in the legend in the bottom left corner. The boundary between the Eastern and Central Time Zones is shown (paved, dirt, scheduled for construction, etc.), as are some ferry lanes in Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Along the left and right edges of the front page, an index of counties, cities, and towns, and their populations is featured. Near the top right corner, an index of principal radio stations in Wisconsin and neighboring states is shown. On the back side of the map, a highway map of the Continental United States is shown, with a mileage chart for major cities in the U.S. Along the top right edge of the back side, an index of National Parks and monuments in the U.S. and Canada is shown. On the bottom half, road maps for Duluth-Superior, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, Racine, and Milwaukee are present. |
