Davies, Mazomanie representative of the Wisconsin Telephone Company, receives the first dial telephone call to be handled through the Wisconsin Telephone Company's new dial central office in Mazomanie, Wisconsin. Mr. Davies receives the call at Davies & Son Store in Mazomanie, Wisconsin. Witnessing the historic event is Truman Thompson, Mazomanie and Madison manager for the Wisconsin Telephone Company. This telephone call was placed by Mazomanie Village President Theodore R. King. |
