Wisconsin | Map or Atlas | Wisconsin Historical Society
This colored road map shows automobile roads in Wisconsin as well as portions of Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois. U.S. numbered highways are shown in green, and information about the quality and type of any given road (paved, dirt, etc.) is included in the legend. The boundary between the Eastern and Central Time Zones is shown, as are boat lanes (for ferries as well as other vessels) in Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Along the bottom edge of the front page, an index of towns and cities in Wisconsin and their populations is featured. On the back side of the map, a mileage chart for major cities in the U.S. is shown, along with a road map of the entire continental U.S. and a list of National Parks and monuments in the U.S. and Canada. There are also road maps for Milwaukee, Kenosha, La Crosse, Madison, and Sheboygan.
