Signal Flag Valentine
Valentine's Day postcard featuring a cherub with a pink sash. The cherub is raising a line of signal flags up a flagpole. In the upper left conrner is the text: "To My Valentine Cupid knows what I would say, So he is signalling to-day, that I love you which is true, Answer that you love me too." At the foot is a key to the meaning of each flag. Chromolithograph with gold metallic ink. |
