1934 Road Map Wisconsin
This road map contains automobile routes for the state of Wisconsin as well as portions of Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan. Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Green Bay, Lake Winnebago and the Mississippi River are all labeled on this map along with other smaller lakes and rivers. Ferry routes across Lake Michigan and Lake Superior are also included in this map. A legend near the bottom left corner provides information on the population of cities, points of interests as well as a classification of automobile routes by construction material. The bottom border of the map includes an index, with population, to locate cities within Wisconsin. The back of the map provides a detailed road map of the United States with a corresponding legend and a listing of National Parks and Monuments. It additionally contains inset maps of Racine, Madison, Duluth & Superior, Milwaukee and Chicago along with its immediate suburbs. A index is also provided for the inset map of Chicago and the surrounding vicinity. An image of a car driving down a road with two geese flying overhead can also be found on the back. |
