Map or Atlas
1934 Road Map Wisconsin
This map provides automobile routes through Wisconsin along with portions of Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Michigan. Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Green Bay, Lake Winnebago and the Mississippi River are all prominent bodies of water labeled on this map. A legend towards the bottom left corner provides a breakdown of the different types of roads and what they are constructed out of. This legend also includes a key to the population of cities and other points of interest. An index of Wisconsin cities and their populations is provided on the bottom border. A detailed road map of the United States with a legend and listing of National Parks and Monuments is located on one half of the back of the map. The other half contains advertisements for the makers of the map, Barnsdall Motor Oil. |
