This road map shows automobile routes across Wisconsin as well as portions of Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan. Lakes Michigan, Superior and Winnebago are all labeled along with the Mississippi River and Green Bay.  A key near the bottom left corner of the map provides an explanation to the different road types and population of towns and cities. In addition, points of interest and airports are also labeled. County highways and federal highways are labeled with their corresponding number. The bottom border provides an index to easily locate cities. The back of the map includes a road map of the United States with a key and listing of National Parks and Monuments. The bottom portion of the map provides a transcontinental mileage chart and an image of a women driving with her dog.  Above her is a compilation of license plates and the Shell insignia.
