Fargo Family
A decorated album page features two photographs of members of the Fargo family posing near the ornate porch of their home. In the photograph on the left, Frank Brown Fargo is sitting in a twig chair holding his son Stuart on his knee, while Louis Mears Fargo is standing on the right. The Fargo children's nurse, Mrs. William Oatway, is smiling as she observes the family from the porch. In the photograph on the right Mrs. Oatway, with a sheet covering her skirt, is holding the infant Frank Barber Fargo on her lap with Stuart standing alongside. A large potted agave plant is sitting on the low brick wall behind them. There is a watercolor painting of a yellow flower at the bottom of the album page. |
