Ice Chipper's Annual Ball Invitation

Ice Chipper's Annual Ball Invitation | Print | Wisconsin Historical Society
Two-fold invitation to the Ice Chipper's annual ball. The front, with humorous text "Eugene Beckman Here's Lookin at Your Ice Hole," has a round hole cutout that is revealing what seems to be a provocative pair of bent knees with a hand dangling a fish over them. Inside, the pair of knees are actually the rears of two pigs with a man in a stocking hat holding a fish with outstretched arm. He stands directly behind a woman, who is bent over pouring slop into the pigs' trough; the man's other hand is sexually suggestively hidden by his waist. The text for the inside spread reads: "Solid Comfort Ice Chipper's Annual Ball April 13th at Leske's Supper Club" and "Formal Wear Optional. Cocktails at 6. Dinner at 7. No Fish Skinners!!!"
