Map or Atlas
Partie Méridionale de la Louisiane, Avec la Floride, la Caroline et la Virginie
Map of the southeastern region of America to just west of the Mississippi River. It shows borders, cities, towns, forts, Native American land, portages, mountains, lakes, swamps, and rivers. A few notes dot the map, describing the conditions of the rivers and other features. A few of these notes and place names, especially in North Carolina and Virginia, appear in English. Flowers and waves frame the title cartouche. |
