Union House Tavern Poster
Unfinished drawing. A man in a Civil War Union uniform is running with a mug of beer while carrying a rifle and a pack. Text reads: "Since 1858." This refers to the history of the tavern, at Union Corners, which soldiers from Camp Randall frequented on leave, and right before leaving for the war. In pencil at lower left is the text: "Union House," and in pencil on the right: "Madison, Wisconsin." |
