Map or Atlas
Partie de l'Amerique Septent? qui Comprend la Nouvelle France ou le Canada
Map of eastern Canada and part of America, with an inset map of the Great Lakes region in the lower left corner. It shows boundaries, cities, settlements, Native American land, forts, islands, lakes and rivers. A floral and scroll frame borders the inset title cartouche. The main title cartouche appears on an illustration of cloth draped over a tree branch. A canoe sits under the cloth, as does a beaver, while pine trees and Native American huts stand behind it. |
