Burgess, on the right, has his left elbow resting on the newel post of a prop balustrade. The other soldier is resting his left hand on Burgess' shoulder. Both men are wearing little finger rings. Hand-coloring on trousers, cheeks, and gold details on uniforms and jewelry. |
