Mountains and some settlements appear pictorially. A block of text, "Remarque," sits in the bottom, and contains notes on Mexico and Florida. All of the Great Lakes except Lake Superior are shown and labeled, though "Lake Illinois" replaces Lake Michigan, and "Lake Michigane" replaces Lake Huron.
