Painting
Spearing Time
This genre work, titled "Spearing Time," was painted in 1999 by Geri Schrab, a self-taught watercolor artist in De Forest, Wisconsin. Schrab was first inspired to learn how to paint in the mid-1990s after visiting a Native American rock art site. The focus of her work was pictographs and petroglyphs from sites all over the United States. Schrab created this watercolor after seeing the rock art at Gullickson's Glen in Southwest Wisconsin. |
