Eau Claire Public Library Construction
Two men are laying bricks during the construction of the Eau Claire Public Library at Farwell Street and Grand Avenue. A third man, at left, wearing a hat and suit, and holding a cane, stands nearby watching their work. In the foreground is a rope which is attached to a wooden structure supporting a winch and pulley set up behind the brick wall on the left. The library, designed by the firm Patton & Miller of Chicago, opened in 1904. |
