Ruth Ann Peterson, Queen Margaret Thomas, and Barbara Larson, from St. Croix Falls, are standing on the left, while the girls from Taylors Falls, Julie Olson, Queen Christine Johnson, and Julie Vitalis are standing on the right next to Erickson. The girls looked on as local Boy Scouts unveiled the marker to the public.
