Opening Day Fishing Season - The Purist
Imaginative pen-and-ink drawing of a fly fisherman standing and baiting his hook for his fly rod while standing by a stream. This drawing appeared in the Wisconsin State Journal on May 7, 1965 with Sid's poem for the imaginative drawing: "When the Purist Hook on the lowly Worm, He Hides His Ideals Back on the Shelf, And Knowing Well His conscious Shame, Love forgives no sin against Itself." |
