Key to 29th Wisconsin Infantry Volunteers
A key to the members of the 29th Wisconsin Infantry Volunteers, consisting of a piece of paper with numbered circles punched through it. When this key is placed over the faces of the people in the group portrait (see Image ID: 122675), it indicates the name and company of the soldier. Written on the top of the key, "Key to Picture of 29" Wisconsin Inf Vols taken at Milwaukee Aug 1889. Designed & Prepared and Presented by John P. De Meritt. No. 31." |
