End of an Era
Across the street from Knickerbocker Plaza a wire fence separates a deserted automobile garage from the street. A sign posted on the fence by McGann Construcion reads: "Hard Hat Required on Site." An excavator is sitting on the site, and large elms and other trees are growing in the background. Snow is covering the ground and the roof of the house in the background, but the road is clear and the sidewalk is shoveled. |
