Bellanca CH Pacemaker
Three-quarter left side view from rear of a Bellanca CH Pacemaker, a six-passenger monoplane, sitting on a runway. "Bellanca Especial" is written on airplane's tail. This airplane, named "Peru," was bought by Peruvian president Augusto B. Leguia and his associates who flew it all across South America and finally from Santo Domingo back to the Bellanca Field near Wilmington, Delaware in a non-stop flight. The "Peru" was flown by pilots Carlos Martinez de Pinillos and Peruvian Naval Lieutenant Carlos Zegarra. In the background airplanes are parked, and one airplane is in flight just above them. |
