King Street
View up center of King Street towards the third Wisconsin State Capitol. There are streetcar tracks, and large power poles are along the left side of the street. A building on the corner of E. Main Street on the left has a "Smoke" sign. There is a horse-drawn vehicle and a few automobiles parked along the curbs. On the right is a store with a "Meals" sign next to a small grocery store with an awning advertising cigars and fruits. On the side of the building is a large painted advertisement for Coca-Cola. The building in the right foreground is a paint and wallpaper store with a large sign advertising "Patton's Sun Proof Paints," and awnings advertising glass and wallpaper. On the sidewalk is a signboard: "Emil O. Seiler Contractors and Painting: Interior wood finishing, calcimining, picture framing, decorating, glass glazing and varnishes, etc." |
