Montello House

A cabinet card photograph of the Montello House Hotel. The two-story brick building has a gable fronted wing on the right and a shingled wooden tower on the left which held a water tank. The two-story porch extends along the entire front. There is an electric light hanging from a pole in front of the hotel. People are posing on the lower porch on the right; the man on the left is wearing a chef's uniform. A sidewalk crosses the lawn. On the reverse is written: "The hotel where we boarded in 1897." |
