Benjamin Walker Castle
Exterior view of the disintegrating Benjamin Walker Castle in the 900 block of E. Gorham Street. The castle was built by an Englishman, Benjamin Walker, about 1863. The Walkers returned to England in 1866 and the castle passed through several owners until about 1893 when the disintegrating building was de-constructed and its materials used in other buildings. |
