Edward P. Bridgman and Man
Quarter plate ambrotype of Edward P. Bridgman (1834-1915) at left, and unidentified man at right. Two half figures sit on either side of a table on which are sitting a clock, tankard, plate with knife and fork, and a paper bearing the large letters 'EUCER.' Bridgman has his left arm on a book on the table. Hand-coloring on cheeks. Bridgman came to Wisconsin in 1875, resided at Keshena on the Menominee Reservation until 1879; homesteaded in Langlade County 1879-82; resided at Antigo 1882-1901; and resided in Madison from 1901 until his death there in 1915. |
