Methodist Church and Parsonage
A woman and girl stand on the sidewalk leading along the side of the Methodist church from the parsonage to the street. There is a man near the wood frame church building. The church has a steeple topped with two crosses. The written inscription reads: "After ten years very truly EA Bass." The card was mailed to Rev. C.A. Stockwell, Tillamook, Oregon. Rev. Stockwell had presided over Methodist congregations in Wisconsin prior to moving to Oregon. E.A. Bass was a physician in Montello and was, himself, an amateur photographer. Caption reads: "Methodist Church and Parsonage — Printed by Miss Kaurfmann — Montello, Wis." |
