Viet Nam Policy is Discussed at a Meeting of the Policy Committee of the U.W. Young Democrats
Critics and supporters of the United States policy in Viet Nam discuss their views at a meeting of the policy committee of the University of Wisconsin Young Democrats. Chris Green, representative of the Madison Committee to End the War in Viet Nam, speaks to the committee. Green states that his group considers the conflict a "civil war" of no concern to the United States. He was also critical of a policy which he stated is substituting a U.S.-backed social revolution for a Vietnamese social revolution. |
