Protestant French Community of Taize, France Monks Spend Year at the U.W.
Three monks from the Protestant Church, French Community of Taize, France are spending one year in the University of Wisconsin community praying with groups, meeting students, and conducting discussions and retreats. The community is the only Monastic order in the Protestant Church. The brothers are staying at the Luther Memorial parsonage at 1025 University Avenue. Shown (L-R) are: Brothers Christopher, Germany; Jacques, Switzerland; and Johann, Sweden. |
