Caption at the bottom of the frame reads: "Lori Bose: 'I'm a photographer planning to drive a schoolbus in the fall to supplement my photography. I heard about it from friends, a couple of other artists whose main pursuit in life is other than bus driving but this is a way to feed themselves.' Lori has lived here almost 4 years, moving from Kenosha. 'There's a lot more happening culturally here, and I plan to stay here as long as I live in Madison. People often refer to the east and west sides of Madison and the split in ideology, politics. Instead of pursuing material things, people who consider themselves part of the counter culture are pursuing things that are more meaningful to them in terms of creative arts.'" |
