Gimbels-Schusters Department Store Pop-Concert-Fashion Show
| Audience members at a pop-concert-fashion show held by the Gimbels-Schusters department store outside the store in the Hilldale Shopping Center. Performance of hit-parade songs was performed by singers Peggy March and Bernie Thomas who were backed-up by the musical group DuPont dance group. Interspersed between the songs was a fashion show by the "Gimbelteens," representatives of area high schools. About 1,000 young people attended the concert-fashion show. |
