Fourteen former teachers who taught at White School are posing in front of the school, a one-room school house located on Highway PD at Mound View Road, between Verona and Mt. Horeb. The school was named for Addison White. The teachers are standing in a vertical line rising up a hill toward the White School. A crowd of people are posing on the school's porch behind the teachers. The teacher's tenures range from 1902 to 1965. The teachers present, from foreground to back, Eric Nemec, present teacher, Beatrice Keller, teacher from 1962 to 1963; Rose Isnerson, 1959-62; Phyllis Pautz, 1957-59; Gladys Huber, 1954-56; Doyle Alexander, 1949-54; Laura Norslien, 1941-44; Alice Paulson, 1939-41; Ethel Gust, 1925-27; Elmer Gordon, 1922-25; Martha Dolohanty, 1918-19; Pearl Carpenter Thompson, 1916-18; Thea Offerdahl, 1914-15; and Jeannie Ferguson, 1902. The event was held to celebrate the school's history and final year as an active school.
