The "Arrow"
Elevated view across water towards an unidentified man standing on the deck of the steamship "Arrow," owned by Shelton Sturges. It is docked at a pier near a large windmill which was part of the estate of Levi Ziegler Leiter, a Chicago retailer and early partner of Marshall Field. There is a sailboat docked on the right. Other buildings are in the background on the hill above the shoreline. |
