Edward Uihlein was director of the Chicago operations of the Milwaukee based Schlitz Brewing Company. His daughter Ella married Conrad Seipp's grandson Edwin Alexander Seipp; daughter Melita married Edwin's brother William Conrad Seipp, Jr. A portion of Forest Glen was developed as a park designed by landscape architect Jens Jensen. The park area was open to the public. |
