Train Pulling in to Zenda
Ernst Schmidt has captioned this photograph, "The C. M. & St. P. train arriving at Zenda at 10:30 A. M. on Sunday, April 12. Alma, Edward and Conrad came up on that train." The steam engine is approaching the Zenda Lumber Company; there is a freight car on the siding. An unpaved road crosses the tracks and another runs alongside the tracks. There is a house in the background on the left. |
