Fire Dispatchers Room
Dispatcher Sgt. L.E. Odegaard sitting at a switchboard surrounded by newly installed dispatching equipment. Odegaard is on the second floor of No. 3 station, 1217 Williamson Street. The dispatchers' room was moved from No. 1 station, 18 S. Webster Street, to the Williamson Street fire station because it was fire resistant and would help lower Madison's fire insurance rates. |
