Hauling Crib for the Pier
A team of two draft horses, driven by a man standing in a wagon, pulls a portion of crib across the ice of Geneva Lake. Another man walks alongside the wagon. The crib was part of the heavy timber framework used to support the pier at the new club house of the Lake Geneva Yacht Club. Another pier, frozen in the ice, is in the background. |
